Competent medically, but horrible customer service. I showed up early with paperwork completed. Left me sitting in the waiting room for 25 minutes past my appointment time. The nurse then enters the data from the paperwork I brought in and does the usual preliminary exam. That took about 15 minutes. I still had to wait for the Dr to get to me. The Dr and staff will ask you questions and begin speaking again before you can answer the question, which is a clear indication that they are not actually listening. The Dr asked me who did my Lasik surgery (from 14 years ago), which was not really relevant any more. When I advised of the name and city where it was done, I was informed I didn't sound like I was from that place?!? They kept trying to upsell me stuff I didn't need and I was still grossly overcharged for what was done. They charged extra to check the prescription on my existing glasses, but didn't give me the option to turn down the service. Advised repeatedly that I didn't want bi-focals and they still wrote the prescription for bi-focals, so that if I try to take it elsewhere, I'll have a hassle on my hands. Next year I'm going to Walmart.
I met Dr. Ann and Dr. Jeff at their clinic, unannounced, providing a service they already knew so much about. To my surprise, they sat down with me in their office and gave me 100% of their attention, that same visit! Once I left is when I realized they are more than just busy doctors. They stay present in the moment, are so personable and considerate of others. The staff is very helpful too and their smiles are contagious! I look forward to working with Fiedler Eye Clinic on a professional level and scheduling my 1st eye exam here, when my current prescription expires! Thank you!
It is hard for me to put in to words just how very grateful that I am for the exceptional care provided by Dr. Ann of Feidler Eye Clinic. We brought our young daughter in to Dr. Ann after observing a concerning area in her eye. After a very thorough examination and follow up, Dr. Ann appropriately and promptly referred our case on to a team that involved an eye specialist and then a neurologist. Due to the young age of our child, this alone was quite a process as many specialists do not take on children as young as our 2 year old. Dr. Ann persisted and succeeded in getting us connected to a team that could thoroughly address our concerns. Throughout this entire process that has evolved over the last several months, Dr. Ann has provided utmost attention, care, and concern for our daughter. She has remained in touch with us and has continued to serve as a local liason with our specialist team in Omaha. We have been so incredibly impressed with the care and attention that went far above and beyond our expectations. Time and time again, I have experienced care from Feidler Eye Clinic that portrays true and genuine care and concern for the patient that extends far beyond my expectations.
