Wish i could leave a negative star rating.
Upon seeing this, I stated that I had not cleared this "repair" and would not pay for the service, which I believe was $120 ($60 for "labor" and $60 for the glue).
Never, never, again!!!! Very disappointed! 2 thumbs down!!!
The next day, I priced the repair at another shop, and they said the part of the door that needed repaired was just a $20 clip in piece.
Got there and the owner told me that they went ahead and fixed the problem. Their solution was to take industrial two part epoxy glue and glue the armrest back on. The glue had bubbled out and had ran down the inside panel on the door of my mustang.
Matt and Jared are awesome guys to deal with and very helpful and do what it takes to get the job done and do it right very happy to have worked with them!!!! Would definitely recommend them. And will go back when needing anything else done on my truck.
Didn't have a problem in previous years, but I must say that this last service was quite disappointing and frustrating. Lets start with the scheduling, nearly 9 months out! OK, i know, big hail storm, "your busy", but really? Most other shops in town where getting vehicles done within weeks at the most.
The owner then refused to give me my keys and threatened to call the police accusing me of theft of service. A third party showed up and I got my car back after giving them the $60 for the glue.
Took my car in to get a quote for a replacement door panel that was broken (armrest had been forcibly ripped off and there was a hole where it was screwed in). I specifically told them not to do any work until it was cleared with me. Got a call a few hours later to pick it up.
Next we have unreal rudeness, they called me several times to pick vehicle up, "while i was waiting for the insurance check", and slammed the phone up on me. Really? Very unprofessional. Since I couldn't pick up the vehicle without a check, they went ahead and charged me a "storage" fee. Really? I just gave you a $4k check and you wan't $30 from my pocket for storage? Oh and by the way cash only, no cards. Wow!
Then we have the ridiculous rates, and no assistance with your deductible what so ever, they couldn't even throw in a free scratch repair? For the 4k they banked on fixing minor hail damage??
Nope, I'm not done. As I am picking up the vehicle along with a $30 bill, my key fob was returned busted!!! I complained and got no where, Jay's wife responded, and I quote, "I don't know i asked the body repair guy and he said he doesn't know".
